About Us

Created by former racing driver Michael Causey, Darkhorse Warehouse was formed from his deep love for racing. Causey states, "Obviously, I want this business endeavor to become successful as an apparel and media outlet, but for me, it's more about becoming involved in racing again. I had to quit racing legend cars four years ago due to a lack of sponsorship. At this point in time, I'm seeing a lot of my former competitors on TV every weekend, so a lot of what I want to do with Darkhorse is about creating a path for drivers to do what I couldn't: make a career out of motorsports. Hopefully, this is a way for me to become more involved in the racing scene and give back to the sport."

Seemingly, every other sport has some sort of real scouting, except motorsports. Nowadays, it is rare that anything other than deep pockets will get you a ride. This is where NXT UP comes in. We want to help change this. The NXT UP series aims to produce high-quality, in-depth documentaries spotlighting emerging talents in the United States and, even overseas one day. This docu-series will give everyone unprecedented access to the personal lives of grassroots racers, in hopes of kick-starting their careers and the scouting side of motorsports. The goal of our platform is to try to make racing "cool" again and bring in new fans, while providing the core fanbase with an outlet like no other.
